North Polk escapes Lewis Central 27-24 (Iowa)

Using the roster from gobound.com North Polk goes to Lewis Central and comes out with a three-point win. In the opening quarter Bryce Burk picked up 11 yards on a nice run. Lewis Central almost ended the North Polk drive when Cooper Donahoo just missed getting a pick, but he did force a punt. Braydan Doss would give Lewis Central a first down when he ran through a big hole created by his linemen. A 10-yard completion to Leonardo Tatum on a nicely thrown ball by Camden Dahlheim kept things going in the right direction for the offense. Doss picked his way to a gain of eleven to move the chains again. Dahlheim would be picked off by Benjamin Glasgow, ending what was once a promising drive. Lewis Central would recover thanks to their defense, who easily dispatched the North Polk offense.
