(Baseball/Game Report) Byesville Meadowbrook 5 Morgan 2

  Morgan (5-10) jumped out in front 2-0 after their first at bat. Carter Larrick, and McGwire Winner had an RBI. From there, the Colts scored the next five runs to post a 5-2 win. They got four runs in the fifth and one in the sixth. For the game, the Colts (9-4) had six hits, while Morgan totaled eight. The Colts committed the only error in the game. Morgan had three extra base hits, all doubles. The Colts had the only home run. Leading the Colts offense with the bomb was Cohen Miles. That would be his only hit, and he had 1 RBI. Austin Warner had two singles and an RBI. Braylon Lowery had a single and two RBIs. Blake Lappert had a single to round out the Colts offense. For the Raiders, Witten Schaad had three hits. Winner had the only steal of the game. Lowery went the distance to pick up the win.

(Softball/Game Report) Circleville Tigers 12 Unioto Shermans 6

The Shermans took an early 2-0 lead after two innings, but the Tigers rallied with four runs in the third and three more in the fourth to take control. The Shermans gave up one run in the top of the fifth before responding with a decisive five-run inning that secured the victory. Unioto ultimately won the game 12-6. Offensively, Unioto out-hit the Tigers 12-11. Defensively, the Shermans committed three errors, while the Tigers had just one. Audrey Cowdery went the distance for the Tigers, giving up twelve hits and six earned runs. She struck out two and gave up two bases on balls. Kaylee Sever pitched for four innings and Macie Cox went two. They combined to give up nine earned runs. They combined for two strikeouts and four bases on balls. Haylee Hull for Unioto had the only bomb of the game. Overall, she went 2-4 with an RBI. Cox had three hits and 1 RBI. McKenna Williams had two hits in the loss. (Softball/Game Report) Lakewood 15 Northridge (Johnstown) 0 5 Innings (No Hitter)

  Lakewood (11-5) came in off of their lost to a very sound Johnstown team while Northridge (6-9) came in with a league win over Heath. The Lancers led just 2-0 after one inning of play then in the second the Lancers scored seven runs to put the game away. The Lancers would tack on six more runs before all was said and done to post the 15-0 win.  Allie Stimmel threw a no-hitter where she walked two and struck out eight. She did not have any balls hit hard and here defense made all the plays needed to keep the no hitter intact. The Vikings committed three errors.  Averie Adams had a grand slam to go with and two singles. I, along with her dad had her with 5 RBI, though the stats on Max preps has her with 4 RBI. She also scored twice. Overall the Lancers pounded out 17 hits. Cora Redman, Stimmel, and Anna Crist each had two hits. Crist had 2 RBI while Redman and Stimmel each had one.
