A game that stands out to me was our game against Heath. We were losing 20-7 with around 6 minutes to go. Our offense moved the ball down the field, and I had a passing touchdown to Le’Den Jones. Our defense got another huge stop, and then our offense moved back downfield, and I had another passing touchdown to Owen Hall. We ended up winning the game 21-20. Passing stats: 2,123, 17 TDs, 8. We played a game against Heath week 2 of the season. I had been sick all day and felt horrible leading up to the game, and the first half went smoothly. I had a few tackles, and during halftime I really felt sick. We came out down 7-14, and I ended up blocking a PAT coming out of the half to make it 7-20 for them. We then got a few stops on defense, and I had 2 forced fumbles on both of their running backs. In Q4 of the game, we were still down and ended up scoring 2 touchdowns to make it 21-20 for us. The highlight of my 2024 season was definitely the 42-yard free kick Coach Daniel Barker had me working on all week before we played that Friday night. For those that don’t know, a free kick happens after receiving a fair catch. Your team can choose to kick a field goal off a kickoff tee from where the fair catch was received.
