What are you looking forward to the most this season?

I am most looking forward to the bond I’m going to build with some of the guys and how we’re going to show people who we are.

What do you feel the advantages are of being what some would deem a shorter lineman?

I think the advantage is that you’re already lower than most. So leverage plays a big role in that.

What are your biggest strengths as a line?

Our biggest strengths are communication and the bond we have together on that line, and we take the weights very seriously.

What is the best part of being a lineman?

The best part of being an offensive O-lineman is how you are the reason the plays are made on a Friday night.

What is the toughest part of being a lineman?

The toughest part of being an offensive lineman is that you get no credit and you do the dirty work up front.

What type of defensive lineman is the toughest to face in a game?

The toughest lineman to face is someone who is just ready to get at it and wants to be in the trenches.

Grass or turf?

I would say turf.

Can the fans, band, and cheerleaders get you fired up?

The fans, band, and cheerleaders are some of the reasons why the team is fired up because they are just loud and ready to see some great things on the field.

As a younger player, if you are having football-related problems, which teammate are you seeking help from?

I mainly look for an older guy for help, like one of my guards, Connor Ray, and Jude Blake. They help me a lot when I have a problem, so a big thanks to them.

Would you rather face your rival to kick off the season or face them in the last week of the regular season?

I would say the last game because you can build up anger and want to beat them more.

How do you get over a bad game?

I get over a bad game by looking over film with my parents and seeing my mistakes and knowing I can fix them in practice.

Where should the state finals be?

I think it should be in the city of Charleston because that’s the capital.

Who is your favorite actor?

My favorite actor is Will Farrell because I see his movies everywhere and he’s hilarious.

What is your favorite class or subject?

I’m a math guy; I always have been, so I would say math.

What is your favorite type of music?

My favorite music is rock, like the 80s and 90s bands, because of my dad.
