My favorite memory is the bus ride home from beating St. Charles for the first time in history.
What are your goals for the season?
My goal is to take a team that hasn’t won anything in years and to win a state championship.
What has been the highlight of your high school football career so far?
Going 9-1 for the first time in school history
What is the best part of being a lineman? The best part of being a lineman
You get to put people in the dirt.
What is the toughest part of being a lineman?
We get the blame for everything!
How would you describe your style of play?
My style of play is hard-nosed football.
Who has been the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team he played for?
He played for McComb High School. I forgot his name, but he was an All-American.
With this being your final high school season, have you approached things differently than you have in the past? Explain.
I approach everything differently because I work a lot harder than I did when I was younger.
Why should a college coach recruit you?
Because I am a hard worker, I will do whatever it takes to win. Also, I am a great leader, and my work ethic is top-notch.
What makes you a good teammate?
What makes me a good teammate is that I am going to lead you in the right direction and make sure you're not slacking off, so you will be your best self.
Who is the toughest teammate to square off against during practice?
Shamar Kemp.
What is the best part of practice?
The best part of practice has got to be the inside run.
What is the toughest part of the first day of practice?
The toughest part of the first day of practice is conditioning.
What scares you?
What scares me is getting hurt and not being able to play my senior year.
What is your favorite class or subject?
Probably math and African American history.
