Post a small recap of last season with personal highlights and any other big moments you have and memories you have from last season, whether it be a game, the bus ride to or from the game, or any other thing that sticks out.
Last season we started off hot, going 3-0, then we battled injuries throughout the season, finishing 4-6. A big memory from last season was playing against Washington Courthouse and having 3 interceptions in one game. The whole game and the bus ride home were electric!
What are you going to miss from the 2025 class?
I’m going to miss the bonds that I created with my teammates the most. It was awesome to come out with them every day, and I’m going to miss that.
What are your goals for the season?
My major goal for this season is for our team to get back to the success we’ve had in the past.
Heading into this season, your final high school football season, have you approached things any differently than in the past? Explain
I feel like I’ve approached this season a little differently. I know that this is my last opportunity at Western Brown, and I want to make the most of it.
What was the highlight of the 2024 season?
The highlight of last season was starting 3-0 and having fun with my guys on the field.
What was the low point of the 2024 season?
The lowest point in the season was losing some of our key pieces to injuries. It was a difficult adjustment at some points.
What makes you a good teammate?
The way I lift up my teammates and get them back on track is what makes me a good teammate.
Would you rather play your rival in week one or end the regular season with them?
I’d rather play my rival at the end of the season for sure. I want us to be at our best for the game.
When the team is having a bad practice, what are the first words out of your coach's mouth?
The first words from Coach Osborne are usually “Pick it up.” That’s our warning to fix what’s going wrong that day.
What is the best part of the first day of practice?
The best part of the first day is being able to get back on the field as a team and get ready for the upcoming season.
How do you get over a bad game?
I will watch the film the next morning and reflect on what happened and where I went wrong, then fix it during the next week of practice.
If you are invited to play in any of the all-star games after the season, will you?
Definitely, I feel like that would be a great opportunity to experience!
Would you share with the readers some of the colleges you are hearing from?
I have received offers to play at McPherson College and Marietta College! I have been talking to Centre College, Taylor University, Thomas More University, Tiffin University, the University of the Cumberlands, Gannon University, Saginaw Valley State University, and Lindsey-Wilson College.
Where is the best local spot to grab a pizza?
My favorite local pizza place is definitely LaRosa's.
What is your favorite class or subject?
My favorite class has been my entrepreneurship class.
What is your favorite energy drink?
I don’t drink energy drinks, but my favorite drink is an Arizona half-and-half tea.
