Post a small recap of last season with personal highlights and any other big moments you have and memories you have from last season, whether it be a game, the bus ride to or from the game, or any other thing that sticks out. We started off the season 3 and 0, and then our team battled through injuries, and we ended the season 4 and 6. One of my biggest memories from the season last year was beating Goshen by 30.
Who or what got you started playing football?
The person who got me to start playing football was my stepdad.
What motivates you to continue playing the game?
What motivates me to play the game is I want to leave a name for myself and for people to remember my name for years on end.
How would you describe your style of play as a linebacker?
I would describe my style of play as a field general. I play sideline to sideline and can cover the run and pass.
Is there a pro or college player that you pattern your game after?
The player I try to pattern my game after is Luke Kuechly.
What is the toughest aspect of being a linebacker?
The toughest aspect of being a linebacker is having to know what everyone has to do on the play.
What is the toughest drill for you, as a linebacker, to do?
I think the toughest drill for a linebacker to do is bag work.
How does the team support each other, both on and off the field?
Our team supports each other on and off the field by having each other's backs no matter the situation, being willing to help each other whenever, and each one of us pushing ourselves to the limit for each other.
What are three reasons you like being part of the football team?
The brotherhood, the coaches, and I like making plays on the field.
Do you think attitude is a factor in winning?
Do you think attitude is a factor in winning? Yes, I think attitude is a factor. No matter the sport—boxing, wrestling, UFC, or football—the best of the best of those sports have an attitude that winning is the only option.
Where should the state finals be?
I think the state finals should stay where they are at.
If you are invited to play in any of the all-star games after the season, will you play?
Yes, I would play; it would be a great opportunity to test my skills with the best of the best.
In a perfect world, what type of defense are you playing in?
In a perfect world, the defense I would be playing in is Tampa 2.
What scares you?
Two things scare me in this world: God and my stepdad.
What is your favorite class or subject?
My favorite subject is history.
If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what are you eating?
I would eat steak.
