Post a small recap of last season with something like a big game you had, something about a certain game, something from a bus ride to or from the game, or something that sticks out from a practice.

A game that stands out to me was our game against Heath. We were losing 20-7 with around 6 minutes to go. Our offense moved the ball down the field, and I had a passing touchdown to Le’Den Jones. Our defense got another huge stop, and then our offense moved back downfield, and I had another passing touchdown to Owen Hall. We ended up winning the game 21-20.

Passing stats: 2,123, 17 TDs, 8. Rushing stats: 432 yds, 1 TD.

What was the biggest lesson you learned from the 2024 season?

Never give up during any game, even when you are down, because you never know what can happen.

What will you miss the most from the 2025 class?

I feel like I will miss the leadership of the 2025 class. We had some leaders that we are losing that had an impact on our team and helped us get better.

When did you start playing quarterback?

4th grade

What is the toughest part of being a quarterback?

I feel like the toughest part of being a quarterback is the pressure on you. You have to know what every position is doing, read defenses, and make quick decisions. Everything happens quickly, so I say the pressure is the toughest thing.

What makes you a good teammate?

I’m here for any teammate, and I will cheer for their success, but when people mess up, I will tell them what they did wrong and help them.

What is the toughest part of the first practice in full pads?

I feel like the heat is the hardest part. You are used to being outside in just a helmet and shoulder pads, but once you put on the full uniform, it gets really hot.

What type of defense do you like going against the most as a quarterback?

Cover 3

How do you get over a bad game?

Shortly after the game, I’m still upset, but I usually talk to my mom about the game and my thoughts. I do it after each game, but especially after a bad game. When I get home, I watch film on every mistake I made and learn from it.

Would you share with the readers some of the camps that you have attended, along with the most important lesson you have learned?

This year I’ve attended Kent State mega camp, Tiffin Camp, Prep Redzone camp, and Robert Morris. I have learned multiple things, but just enjoy the recruiting process; it goes by fast.

How often do you watch game film on your own?

During the season, I’m watching film for at least 30 min a day on our opponents and our practices. So around 2–3 hours a week.

How do you handle criticism?

I handle criticism really well. I like it when my coaches point out the little things so that I can learn from them and try to be the best that I can be.

Could you share some of the colleges you are hearing from, along with any offers you have received?

I recently received an offer from Capital University. Recently there hasn’t been much talk to colleges.

What was the last book that you read, along with the author?

Tomlin by John Harris

Have you ever been to the Columbus Zoo?

Yes

What is your favorite drink?

Water
