  Dan Kirby University of Findlay MEd 98 Cincinnati Eagles Spooky Nook -Champion Mill, Hamilton, Ohio Head Football Coach Coaching Tree   My Mentors: St. Marys Memorial, College Intern Coach, Head Coach Skip Baughman (Coaches HOF), 2 Ohio Div 2 State Titles 1990 & 1992. This time had a huge influence on me and has led to a 37-year career. Defensive Coordinator Bob Priddy also had a big impact on my growth as a coach and took me to coaches clinics.         Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter 52 Beach 14 Before getting into the game, I wanted to express how cool it was to meet Coach Zier after the game: the conversation, the Jersey, shirts, the tour of the school, and lunch.  The game started out with Beach recovering their own onside kick, giving them all of the early momentum. Sawyer Noll used the early energy charge to pick up 18 yards with 10:35 left on the clock. Facing a fourth and two, Beach elected to go for it, but Lucas Brown was stopped short. NGS needed just one play to take the 6-0 lead with Bryce Schneider using the blocking of the offensive line to outsprint the defense for the 95-yard score with 6:39 left in the opening quarter. Kirby Dietz picked off Carson Piatz to put the Beach offense on the field with 3:18 left in the quarter. However, the Imperials defense stood tall and quickly got the ball back to their offense.       Herreid/Shelby 26 Harding County 18 My first-ever game in South Dakota took me to Selby to cover the Harding County Rancers at Herreid/sLBY Area game. The game was a dogfight from start to finish, keeping the crowd closely tuned to the action.  Redmond Meyer shook loose for a 12-yard run, then a leaping catch for 29 yards by Tyrel Koan on a nicely thrown ball by Ryder Hunsucker. However, the drive ended without any points being scored as the Herreid/Sleby defense toughened up. The first quarter had just 0:47 seconds left when Thatcher Kihne connected with Kaden Russell for a gain of 23 yards. The 6 play, 99 yard drive ended with a 37 yard run from Porter Gregg to put the Wolverines up 6-0, with 11:49 left in the half. After a big kickoff put the ball on the 30-yard line and one play later, we had a 6-6 game when Hunsucker found Koan for the score, with 11:32 left in the quarter.    My first-ever game in Wisconsin took me to Hudson High School to watch the Raiders battle Wisconsin Rapids. The game was a battle until a questionable interception went against the Rapids; from there, Hudson would run away for the 52-7 win. Hudson needed just one play to take the lead with Grant Bjerke outrunning the defense for a 38-yard touchdown. Grady Simones got the hold down and Keean Holden nailed the P.A.T. making the a 7-0 game, with 11:45 left on the clock. Owen Richardson connected with JD Weiland for a gain of fiftheen to get the Rapids offense moving. On fourth and three, Richardson found Colby Dix to move the chains, keeping the drive alive. Richardson ended the 14-play, 74 yard drive with a 24yard touchdwon pass to Caden Schalinske from 24-yards out. Jack Akkerman tied things up with his P.A.T.
