Who or what got you started playing football?


Loved playing catch with my dad and brother and then started in 6th grade and loved it since.

Offensive line or defensive line, which one do you feel you are better at?


Defensive line for sure.

Offensive line or defensive line, which one is harder to prepare for?


Definitely offensive line.


What have you done during the off-season to help you improve your game?


Lifted multiple times a week and worked out to get ready for the season.

Which part of your game do you feel is your strongest?


I would say defensive line just firing off and getting to the QB.

What has been your biggest moment as an athlete?


Beating an undefeated team last season right before playoffs.

What has been your most embarrassing moment as an athlete?


I don’t have much yet but I’m sure I will by the end of this year.

Who is the best player that you have faced, along with the team he was on?


Probably Hayden Pearson from Colman-Egan.

What is the worst weather for a lineman to play in?


When it’s wet and muddy.

Turf or grass?


Definitely grass.

How important is it to post the win in week one of the season?


Pretty important. Sets the tone for the year.

What are your personal and team goals this season?


Main goal is to lead the team into playoffs and beyond and make it farther than last year.

South Dakota or South Dakota State?


South Dakota state.

What is your favorite home-cooked meal?


Lasagna.

What is your favorite and least favorite type of music?


I listen to just about every kind of music except rock. Not a fan of rock.

Post anything from last season that sticks out to you the most. It can be from a practice, a game, or the bus ride to or from the game. Any one moment that sticks out to you.

The bus ride home from our game against Colman-Egan when we opened the top to get some air in the bus and it flew off while we were driving.
