Post a small recap of last season with personal highlights and any other big moments you have and/or memories you have from last season, whether it be a game, the bus ride to or from the game, or any other thing that sticks out.
Recap from last season: my team went 16-0. The most memorable memories were beating De’Sales after we lost to them the year before that and winning the state championship.
What will you miss the most from the 2025 class?
The leaders from that class, they were all great role models to me and the whole team.
What has been your biggest moment as a member of the Bishop Watterson Football Team?
My biggest moment was when we won States and I got to celebrate with my team.
What is the strength of your game?
Being quicker than the person in front of me and being able to swat balls out of the air.
Would you share with the readers some of the camps you have attended as well as the biggest lesson you have learned?
I’ve gone to Ohio State, Kent State, Miami (OH), Notre Dame, North Carolina, and Virginia. The biggest lesson I learned is that all the success we had last year does not matter; we have to work even harder this year.
Who is the toughest teammate to square up against?
during practice? I would definitely say Michael Boyle. He is one of the hardest workers I know.
What is the worst part of the first day of practice?
I wouldn’t really say there is a worst part because we have a great environment for practice. But for the first day, if you haven’t really been doing anything, you’re probably just a little out of shape.
Who is the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team he played for? I don’t remember his name, but my freshman year when we were playing TCC in State, their right tackle was a lot bigger than me and was very good.
What's the best part of playing on the defensive line?
Getting a sack and celebrating with the other defensive linemen.
What is the toughest part of being on the defensive line?
Staying low to the ground.
What type of offense do you enjoy going against the most?
Spread offense
Would you share with the readers some of the colleges that you are hearing from?
I’m hearing from a lot of MAC schools like Miami (OH), Kent State, and Toledo. Then Virginia and Cincinnati have talked to me too.
What are your goals for the 2025 season?
To get back to State and get double digits for sacks this season.
Where is the best spot in town to grab a pizza?
I would say Pizza House; they definitely have the best pizza in town.
Which state would you like to visit for the first time?
I would love to go to Oregon. I’ve heard it’s really beautiful.
What was the last book you read, along with the author?
Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck.
