Who or what got you started playing football?

Watching my family get excited for the Steelers games and Penn State games made me fall in love with the sport.

What are you going to miss from the 2025 class?

The brotherhood, played with most of those guys since I was 6.

What are your goals this season?

2k rushing yards and 30 touchdowns

What makes you a good teammate?

Leadership and holding people accountable

Running back, safety, or linebacker, which positions do you feel you are better at?

Running back

Of those three positions, which one is the toughest to prepare for?

Safety, you have to command the defense and read the whole field.

Why should your number be called when the game is on the line?

Because when we need a big play, I want the ball in my hands.

Can the band, fans, and cheerleaders get you fired up before and/or during the game?

Yes, for sure, the atmosphere makes football more fun than it already is.

What have you done during the off-season to improve your game?

Lots of lifting and field workouts

What sacrifices have you made when it comes to playing sports?

Skipping vacations and calling off work to make sure I can get my fieldwork and weight room time in

Where should the state finals be held?

I think CV is great.

Would you share with the readers some of the camps you have attended as well as the biggest lesson you have learned?

I’ve been to a few clinics and camps, including California University of PA, and plan to attend Albright and Kutztown camps. I’ve learned that your body gesture and attitude when being around the coaches can take you a long way.

Where is the best local spot to grab a meal?

At Walmart, the chicken is better than any place I’ve ever eaten.

Who are your favorite and least favorite NFL teams?

The Steelers are my favorite, and my least favorite team is the Chiefs.

Athens Bulldogs use balanced attack to down Wellston Golden Rockets 41-0

  *Using the rosters from both Hudl and Max Preps* The Plains, OH Last night I made the hour-long drive to Athens High School to watch the Bulldogs host the Golden Rockets of Wellston. Entering the game, the Bulldogs came in 7-0 and ranked number 10 in division three. Wellston, much improved from last season, entered 5-2. In the game last year, Athens won 47-28. Wellston started out doing exactly what they needed to do to have a shot at winning the game. They came out and ate most of the first quarter with a drive that had last for 15 plays going for 69 yards. Things would start going wrong for them on the sixteenth play of the drive. They faced fourth and four from the Bulldogs five, and they elected to go for it, where the pass and the second attempt of the drive fell incomplete, forcing a turnover on downs. On the drive facing a third and one, Seth Lambert picked up twelve. Later on the drive facing third and fifth, Johhny Scott picked up 10-yards after he could not find anyon...
