Please post a small recap of last season with something like a big game you had, something about a certain game, something from a bus ride to or from the game, or something that sticks out from a practice.

The most memorable game last year was the last game of the season when we got to play at the High School under the lights.  I specifically remember having a great tackle when I ran down the wide receiver on the opposite side of the field, preventing them from a touchdown. I believe that my talents of being a multi-sport athlete all came together in that play.

What is the most rewarding part of being a multi-sport student-athlete?

The most rewarding part of being a multi-sport student-athlete is being able to represent my school through three different sports seasons.

What is the toughest part of being a multi-sort student-athlete?

The toughest part of being a multi sport athlete is having out of season training for sports while I am in season for another.  This past spring there was a week that I trained football and wrestling, while competing in track.

Football, Track, Wrestling: Of the three sports you are involved in, which one do you feel you are better at?

I feel that I am the best at football because it is the sport that I am the most passionate about. I also spend the most time training football whether it's practice, drills, or just playing catch with my dad. I know the work I put into the sport will take me far in pursuit of my goals.

I always hear players and coaches say wrestling helps me out a lot with being a better football player. Can you break it down for the readers how this holds true for you?

Wrestling is a sport that demands mental toughness which is good for football when you're playing in the 4th quarter, and you need to make a big play to win the game. It also helps with tackling as wrestling makes you get low to take a shot and helps you drive through to finish the shot or tackle.

What has been your biggest moment as an athlete?

My biggest moment as an athlete came when I saw that hard work and dedication is rewarded with success in and out of sports. In youth football I was overlooked as a player, but I worked hard in training and became a starter on offense and defense my 7th and 8th grade years.

What's been your lowest moment as an athlete?

My lowest moment was this past year not making it to the OAC state wrestling tournament because I was not performing to the best of my ability.

Name one thing that you’d love to do as an athlete that may never happen?

Represent the U.S.A. and compete in the Olympics.

What goals will you set for the team this season?

Working together as a team. Our strength this year will be unity.

Who is the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team he was on?

I don't remember his name, but #2 for New Albany’s 8th grade team was good competition.

Which away stadium is the worst to play in, along with what makes it so bad?

The worst stadium that we played on was Olentangy Hyatt's field due to the state of the grass being dead, and it had lots of divots in it.

What makes you a good teammate?

I am respectful, disciplined, and have a very hard work ethic.

What is your biggest strength as a football player?

My biggest strength on the field is my determination and mental toughness. No matter the score or the down, I fight hard every play.

Where is your favorite local spot to grab a meal?

My favorite local spot to grab some food is Roosters, I love their boneless chicken wings and lemonade.

What is your favorite type of music?

I like all genres of music from 2000s hip hop to 2010 pop and Country, I will listen to it all

What is a style or fad that your generation has that you do not get?

All the new tik tok trends, I just don’t understand all the latest trends or slang.
