My first year of high school football, I became a starter as a freshman. I played a significant role because I knew the team trusted me to help us win games.


What has to change inside the football program to get the program to be a constant winner?

There’s something that needs to change: we need to communicate more effectively so we can work harder as a team.


Who is the one teammate you would go to if you were having football related problems?

I would go to my teammate/brother AJ about football problems because he has been through it all, and he pushes me to become a better football player /person overall

What do community by in mean to you and how important is it to the team?

 It means a lot to me and the team overall because we love to see family and friends come out and support us. 


Watching your Hudl highlights you look like a very physical player. Is there a pro or college player that you pattern your game after?

One player I really look up to in the NFL is Myles Garrett. He’s a physical and fast individual who trains hard as a human being.


What's been your biggest moment as an athlete?

My biggest moment as an athlete was making a big play, like getting a sack.


Of the three sports that you play, which one do you feel you are best at?

The sport I feel most comfortable with is football because it runs in my family. 


What is the best part of being a D-Lineman?

The best part about being a defensive lineman is learning a lot of moves and dominating the other team online.

What is the toughest part of being a D-Lineman?

However, one of the toughest things about being a defensive lineman is the hard work and responsibilities that come with it.


What is something unique about the West football team, that fans do not know about?

What’s unique about West High School football is that we all know how to work as a team and get through tough times. No other team can do that.


As a student-athlete how do you go about getting fellow students to come out for the football team?

 As a fellow student athlete I would encourage other students to come play for West HS football team because we would need all the help we can get. 

Which ROAD stadium is the best to play in, along with the one thing that makes it so good?

 Briggs in my opinion has one of the best fields because it's all grass and isn't muddy, and it has no hills in it

How do you get over a bad game?

To get over a bad game, I look at film and work on the things I did wrong.


What scares you?

Something that scares me is getting injured and never being able to play football again. 


What is your favorite class or subject?

My favorite subject is art because I’m a very artistic individual. 


What is a style or fad that your generation has that you do not get?


Everyone wants to sit around and be lazy instead of focusing on what’s best for them.
