What first got you started punting?
We had a day when we could just try things sophomore year I found out I was pretty decent at punting, so I stuck with it.
What is the toughest part of punting?
I would say the feeling of not being better and the suspense of wait on the sidelines to prove myself
How much work do you get in practice kicking in game like situation?
I do punting drills and soft/practice punts to warm up my leg and get about 20-40 real punts depending on how my leg feels
How often do you work with your long snapper on your own?
Before practices and once we go special teams at practice or the occasional times my long snapper is available
What's been you longest punt in a game?
It was 63 yards against Bishop Ready
For a punter what is the worst type of weather to play in?
I would say either heavy rain or heavy winds due to them adding factors to the ball
What was your personal highlight during the 2025 season?
Those
early morning practices with the guys just enjoying ourselves it might
not be much in the moment but later down the line I know I'll cherish
those types of moments
What was the toughest part of the 2025 season?
Losing our last game it was win or go home we needed 1 more win to get in the playoffs
How do you get over a block punt or bad punt?
Accept it for what it is but not allowing it to hold me down
What is something that you would like to do in a game but might not have a chance to?
Throw another touchdown off a punt fake
What team goals are you setting this season?
More unity in my team to push my teammate to strive for better and to get a better record than we did last year
What are your personal goals for the season?
To
be a better in more aspects than 1 like a better leader better athlete a
better teammate and get better at kicking since I focus on punting
Have you watched any of the UFL games?
No I mainly just watch things that'll help me get better at my job
What is your go-to snack?
Something like a granola bar
Who are your role models?
I
look up to my big brother he had to step up as a father figure in my
family he has always steered me in the right direction I also look up
