 One thing that stuck out to me last year was the last bus ride of the season. It was fun and enjoyable spending that last time together with the seniors.

 What was the first words Head Coach Sayers said to you?

The first words Coach Sayers said to me were “get out” because I was 30 seconds late to the first ever 5 a.m. workout.

 What's been the biggest change that the new staff has brought?

The biggest change the new staff has brought is more energy, discipline, and accountability every day at practice.

What is the toughest part of practice?

The toughest part of practice is staying locked in and giving full effort when everyone is tired.

What is your favorite part of practice?

My favorite part of practice is competing with my teammates and getting better every day.

What are the goals you set for the team, this year?

The goals we set for the team this year are to win games, compete for championships, and become closer as a team.

 What are your personal goals?

My personal goals are to improve every game, help my team win, and continue getting noticed for football at the next level.

 If the game is on the line why should your number be called?

 My number should be called because I stay confident under pressure and I trust the work I put in.

 Do you feel that you and your teammates are role models to the younger kids that come and root for you and the team?

Yes, because younger kids look up to us, so we try to set a good example on and off the field.

Would you rather open the season with your rival or end the regular season with them?

I would rather end the regular season with our rival because it makes the game more exciting and gives both teams more to play for.

What's been your biggest moment in a game?
 

My biggest moment in a game was scoring the game-ending touchdown last year.

 What are you looking forward to the most this season?

I’m looking forward to competing with my teammates and making great memories this season.

 Who is your favorite athlete?

My favorite athlete is Jeremiah Westbrook.

 What scares you?

What scares me is not reaching my full potential.

 What is your favorite class or subject?

My favorite class is P.E.
