Please post something from last season that sticks out to you. It can be from a game, practice, or something funny on the bus ride to or from the game—any moment that sticks out to you.

After every varsity game win me and the 4 other freshman that rotated in would head to Waffle House not matter what time it was to get food which was always a fun time.

What is the best part of being a student-Athlete and Highland High School?

Every staff member and coach wants to see you succeed whether it is in the classroom or on the field making it a great place to be.

Would you rather face your rival in week one or close out the regular season with them?

I’d rather face my rival week one and set the tone early in the season.

As a younger player, which teammate are you going to in you are having football related problems?

My teammate Evan Foust he is one of the best players in the state and understands the high school process.

What was the biggest lesson that you learned during the 2025 season?

The biggest lesson I learned was the importance of playing as a team and communication. You can't win games relying on just one or two people. Now that I’m in high school I realized everyone has to be locked into their role and execute as one unit to win.

What are you doing during the off-season to improve your game?

I’ve been lifting 6 times a week, working on my craft with coach Trevor at T3 on Saturday mornings and meeting with the team nutritionist once a week to gain weight and put on muscle.

What are your personal goals for the season?

My goal is to start varsity and have 10+ sacks.

What teams goals will you set?

The goal of winning a state championship.

What is the toughest part of being a multi-sport student athlete

The transition periods between seasons (like when fall sports are ending but winter sports tryouts are starting) can be chaotic. You might find yourself running straight from one practice to another and having to do homework late at night.

Turf or grass?

Grass 100%

What is the worst weather to play in?

Rain and cold

If the Browns do get their dome should the state finals be moved there?

Yes the state finals should be held on the biggest stage especially in one of the most competitive football states.

How would you describe your style of play?

I’d describe my style as explosive and I play with a ton of energy. I’m really violent with my hands to get past people, and I have a non-stop motor, so I'm constantly flying around the whole game. Even though I play super hard and aggressive, I still stay composed and don't let the pressure get to me.

Where do you get your sports news from?

ESPN, Sports Center.

What was the last book that you read, along with the author?

The last book I read was divergent by
Veronica Roth in language arts class.

Who is your favorite athlete?

Myles Garret
