Please post a small recap of last season with something like a big game you had, something about a certain game, something from a bus ride to or from the game, or something that sticks out from a practice.

Last year coming off sophomore year with a broken leg so I had to get back in the swing of things. So the first few games were bad for me missed assignments bad blocks stuff like that, but as time passed I got better and overall we ended up 8-2.


With this being your final year of high school football have you approached things differently than in the past? 
 
Yes, I have made some major changes especially my weight I used to think my weight was okay but, I have dropped weight and I have attended a lot more camps this year to get work and exposure. 


What are your personal goals for the season?

Go undefeated or 9-1 

What team goals will you set?

Work as a team with great dynamic 

What's been your biggest accomplishment as a football player?

Getting an offer from a college 

What are you doing during the off-season to make you a better player?

Going to camps, getting field work, and  losing weight

What do you feel is your strongest attribute on the field?

Having a strong punch 

What type of defensive lineman is the toughest to face in a game?

The small edge rushers, they’re fast and able to shift their weight fast

Which win so far has meant the most to you? 

Our win against Tyler consolidated high school. We were heavy underdogs people were writing us off, and we were able to hold them off and beat them though it was super fun. 

Which loss has stung the most?

Oak-Glenn… one of my best friends got a concussion and it was just a really bad loss

If you earn an invitation to any of the all-star games after the season, will you play?

Yes, but if I get any more offers from now and then and the coaches say not to then I won’t.  

Why should a college coach recruit you?

I’ll do anything that they ask if they need me do anything I will try to do perfectly and fast.

How would you describe your style of play?

Ground and pound 

What scares you?

God.

What was the last book that you read, along with the author?

The Bible, various authors 

What is your favorite school lunch?

Pepperoni rolls

The highlight of my 2024 season was definitely the 42-yard free kick Coach Daniel Barker had me working on all week before we played that Friday night.
