Please
post something from last season that sticks out to you. It can be from a
game, practice, or something funny on the bus ride to or from the
game—any moment that sticks out to you
Probably when I was getting
tackled during the Bradford game, but I pitched it to our running back
at the last second, and he scored on it.
What is the toughest part of being a multi-sport student-athlete?
Managing time between practices, games, workouts, schoolwork, and family can be hard at times.
What is the most rewarding part of being a multi-sport student-athlete?
Getting to compete year-round and build relationships with different teammates while also always improving as an athlete.
What team goals are you going to set this season?
I want our team to compete for a conference championship, be undefeated, improve every week, and make a deep playoff run.
What makes you a good teammate?
I try to lead by example, encourage everyone around me, and always put the team first while still giving it 100%
Which road stadium do you enjoy playing in the most?
Tri County North. They are the only team in the league with turf, and I love playing on turf.
Football or basketball: which sport do you feel you are better at?
Football. I’ve put a lot of time into developing as a quarterback, and I feel most comfortable on the football field.
What’s
been your biggest moment as an athlete? Starting at quarterback as a
freshman and earning the trust of my coaches and teammates as such a
young player.
Who has been the best athlete that you have gone against?
Probably Colt Camacho who I am now on a team with. Both times I’ve played him, he has had a great game.
How often do you work with your receivers on your own?
As much as possible. During the offseason, we try to throw multiple times each week, and we get extra work in whenever we can.
Which teammate is going to be the first to do something funny at practice when things are a little tense?
Really, anyone, everyone is always in a good mood.
What are you going to miss the most about your teammates who graduated this year?
Their leadership, experience, and the way they helped keep the team focused.
Who are your role models?
My parents, coaches, and quarterbacks who have shown what hard work and leadership look like.
Have you watched any of the UFL games?
Yes. One of my QB trainers, Jordan Kitna, is the QB coach for the Orlando Storm.
If you are asked to cook dinner for the family, what are you cooking?
I would probably make cheesy Chicken and Rice.
