Please post something from last season that sticks out to you. It can be from a game, practice, or something funny on the bus ride to or from the game—any moment that sticks out to you.

Would have to be our game against Xenia. We knew it was going to be a tough game and it was. It was a nail-biter and every single player on offense and defense showed up for each other with grit and determination. We won the game and when that clock ran out the team celebrated each person and as a team. It was awesome. 

What did you learn about yourself last season that you can use this season to be a better player?

I learned a lot about what motivates me and how much I love the game. I have had some injuries that I had to overcome and learn some new motivators for myself to push through.  

Who or what got you started playing football?

My family. My dad, uncles, and cousins all played for Butler and so it was natural that I followed in their footsteps. 

What keeps you motivated to play the game?

The competition. I love competing and this gives me a chance to compete with other

Would you share with the readers your primary job as a safety?

Help out with deeper coverage on the field.  If someone breaks through or there is a long pass, it is our job to break it up.  

What has been your biggest moment as a football player?

We won the championships in Pee Wee. That was a really cool experience to celebrate with the team.

Score touchdowns and help the team win games

I can’t hear a lot from the field with my helmet and all, but it definitely makes a difference when the atmosphere is exciting and loud.
