Not playing football at all with my teammates

What was the best part of the 2025 season?

Getting back in condition and building my relationship with the new coach

The Hornets had a rough 2025 season. What will the 2026 team have to do differently to ensure a winning season?

We have got to come in every day with our heads down and come ready to learn.

The 2027 season is your final high school season. Will you do anything differently as far as preparing for the season?

The whole team has changed, starting with offseason lifts at 5:45 AM and workouts Monday-Thursday.

What makes you a good teammate?

I am good at uplifting my guys when they are down or unsure of their capabilities.

When things are not going well at practice, who is the first player to get loud and get the team refocused?

Honestly, it’s the whole coaching staff; there is never a dull moment on the team.

What was your first impression of the new coaches?

That they were making a difference from day one and were only looking to feed us information.

After the season is over, if you earn an invitation to any of the all-star games, will you play?

If I am blessed to be invited to an all-star game, I will definitely attend.

What are your personal goals for the season?

Some personal goals I have set for myself are to make the first team all district.

Who is the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team they were on?

I can’t remember any names, but one of the good schools we played is Tri-Valley.

What is the strength of your game?

I'm good at doing my job on the field to open up other opportunities.

Would you rather beat your rival and miss the playoffs or lose to your rival and make the playoffs?

Lose to my rival and make the playoffs.

What is your favorite sports movie or show?

Angels in the End Zone

Have you watched any of the UFL games?

I have seen a few clips, but I don’t watch it that much.

What is the one food you cannot eat?

Tilapia.

The highlight of my 2024 season was definitely the 42-yard free kick Coach Daniel Barker had me working on all week before we played that Friday night.
