Something from last season that stuck out to me was when we went down a lot against Scott County, and during halftime everyone was upset and mad, but Coach B came in there and gave us motivation to pick our heads up and to keep trying.

What is the best part in playing for Coach David Buchanan?

The best part in playing for Coach Buchanan is how much he does for me, helps me, gives motivation, and pushes everyone to the best to be a better player on/off the field.

What is the toughest part of playing for Coach David Buchanan?

The toughest part about playing for Coach Buchanan is he pushes us to our full potential to try to become a better football player for the future seasons and to make us better men.

What team goals are you setting?

Team goals that I would like to get next season are to win all district games and hopefully make it to state.

What are your personal goals for the season?

My personal goals this upcoming season are to not let anybody touch the quarterback, get 5 pancakes every game, and be ranked in Kentucky and hopefully nationally.

What is the hardest part of playing on the offensive line?

The hardest part of playing on the offensive line is that you're always going against one of the craziest players on the opponents' team to not let them get to the quarterback.

What is your favorite part of being a lineman?

My favorite part of being a lineman is protecting the quarterback, pancaking people, and being on the same side as Clayton Stratton.

Who is the toughest teammate to square up against during practice?

The toughest teammates to square up against during practice are Clayton Stratton and Zeke Pacheco.

Who has been the best player that you have gone against along with the team he was on?

The best player to have gone against had to be, there is no specific player, but a tough team had to be Woodford County.

Do you feel that you and your teammates are role models to the younger kids who come and watch you play?

Yes, I feel like I’m a role model to the younger generation to keep trying when life is hard.

As a younger player, which upperclassman are you going to if you are having football-related problems?

I would go to Clayton Stratton if there were a problem.

How do you get over a bad game?

I get over a bad game by lifting weights the next day.

What is your favorite sports movie?

My favorite sports movie is Waterboy.

What is one food you cannot eat?

One food I can’t stand is chili.

What is your favorite class or subject?

My favorite subject is math.

The highlight of my 2024 season was definitely the 42-yard free kick Coach Daniel Barker had me working on all week before we played that Friday night.
