What is the best part in playing for Coach David Buchanan?

The best part about playing for Coach is the amount of love he has for me, the team, and the game of football. He is like a second father to me; I can talk to him about anything, and he is always there to check in on me mentally. Coach

What is the toughest part of playing for Coach David Buchanan?

The toughest part about playing for Coach is he will always be on you about everything, all the little habits inside and outside football, pushing me to be a better man.

Coming off of a 3-7 season, what will Anderson County have to do better to have a winning season?

We had a lot of young guys step up as leaders and varsity players last season. The team needs to become more vocal and build chemistry on and off the field.

What are you doing during the off-season to make you a better player?

I am lifting every single day as hard as I possibly can.

Which part of your game do you believe is the strongest?

The best part of my game in my eyes is my ability to play multiple positions at a high level of efficiency. What sticks out to most coaches is my ability to come downhill and lay a hit at safety.

What are your biggest responsibilities as a linebacker?

My biggest responsibility as a linebacker is to cover sideline to sideline and stop the opponent's fastest player.

How would you describe your game to a college coach?

I will play any position you need me at and excel at it. I love to hit, and I have a nonstop motor.

With this being your final high school football season, will you train any differently than you have in the past? Explain

I have always worked as hard as I can, and I always will. The only thing I struggle with is recovery because I never want to stop. Recovering better is the only difference heading into senior season.

Who has been the best player that you have faced in a game as well as the team he was on?

There was no specific player I would classify as the "best," but a tough team was Scott County High School.

What has been your biggest accomplishment as an athlete?

My biggest accomplishment as an athlete was putting on 50 pounds of muscle since freshman year.

What is your favorite type of music?

Alternative/grunge rock and cloud rap

Outside of sports, what are you doing for fun?
