Please post something from last season that sticks out to you. It can be from a game, practice, or something funny on the bus ride to or from the game—any moment that sticks out to you.
One thing that sticks out to me is definitely the win after the Linden McKinley game. Everyone doubted us, and then we won; we were ecstatic.
What are your personal goals for the season?
I want to get at least 2nd team all-city, 10 sacks, and 50 tackles total.
What team goals will you set?
Definitely a playoff win
Which away stadium is the toughest to play at? Explain
Kipp 1000 percent. When we got there, the stadium was almost packed, and it was very hard for me to tune out, especially near the end.
What are you doing during the off-season to improve your game?
Lifting and a lot of hand fighting—I need to get better at leading with hands first.
What has been the biggest lesson that you have learned from playing sports?
It’s a team effort; if you try and do it alone, you’re not going to succeed at all.
What has been the best advice you have been given when it comes to sports, along with where the advice came from?
My dad told me I can't do it all. We will fall short sometimes, and I can't change it.
Which do you feel you are better at, offensive line or defensive line?
Defensive line 100%
What was the highlight of the 2025 season?
The Hoover game was my highlight of the year. I got a sack, allowing our team to get a scoop and score, and had a lot of tackles.
What was the toughest aspect of the season?
The toughest aspect was getting through the adversity. Sometimes we would fight, and we had to come together, and sometimes we didn't until later, but we got through it.
Who is the one teammate you would go to if you were having football-related problems?
Definitely Marques Greene; I talk to him about everything.
What were the first words the new head coach said to you?
He gave me props; he said, "Oh, so you’re number 51."
If you could change one rule in high school football, what would it be?
Definitely the visor or knee pad rules; I think there are ways to get around those.
What scares you?
Spiders
What is your go-to snack?
Skittles: always eat them before the game.
Have you watched any of the UFL games?
Not yet, I tell myself. I will, and then I just don't.
