Please post something from last season that sticks out to you. It can be from a game, practice, or something funny on the bus ride to or from the game. Any moment that sticks out to you.

I'd say the moment that stuck out to me most was senior night against DeSales. I told myself I wouldn’t cry when the seniors left, but the bonds I’ve formed this year are something that I can’t describe. Grayson Alsobrook, a senior this year, took me under his wing and made me infinitely better than in my freshman year.

What is the best part in playing for Coach David Buchanan?

The best part about playing for Coach Buchanan is that he pushes me to be my best and makes me do things that make me uncomfortable to get better.

What is the toughest part of playing for Coach David Buchanan?

The toughest part of playing for Coach Buchanan is that he is very, very hard on us, but it continues to make our program better.

What was the highlight of the 2025 season?

The highlight of the 2025 season was getting close with my teammates and progressing our program.

What are your goals for the 2026 season?

My goals for 2026 are to climb the rankings in my class and put myself on the map.

What team goals are you setting?

My team goals are to get to Kroger Field, like Coach Buchanan always says.

What is the best part of being a lineman?

The best part of being a lineman is that we get to put people in the dirt and punish the person in front of us every play.

What has been your biggest moment as an athlete, in any sport, at any time?

The biggest moment I have had as an athlete is playing Kentucky Future Stars with Coach Ricco because it prepared me for what I was going to face in high school and showed me how good I actually was.

Who has been the best player that you have faced in a game, as well as the team he played for?

The best player I have faced in a game was Sam Dawson, who went to South Oldham High School and is committed to Louisville.

What makes me a good teammate is that I make everyone around me better and set an example for the underclass men.

Do you feel that you and your teammates are role models to the younger kids who come to watch you play?

I feel that my teammates and I are role models to the younger kids who come to watch us play by involving them and setting a great example as not only football players but also young men.

What is the best part of being a student-athlete at Anderson County?

The best part of being a student-athlete at Anderson County is the community support. Since I have been at the high school, we have gotten a new weight room, we are putting in a new locker room floor currently, and the community donates money for whatever we need.

What is one thing you’d love to do in football that may never happen?

One thing I’d love to do in football that may never happen is go to the NFL. Every kid's dream is to play in the NFL, but sometimes things get in the way.

Have you watched any of the UFL games?

I have never watched any of the UFL games, but I watch some of them on social media.

What is a style or fad that your generation has that you just don't get?

A style that my generation has that I don’t get is everyone expects things to be given to them instead of working for them.

Who are your role models?

My role models are my mom and my online coach Davey McCann. My mom is the hardest-working person I know and has done everything for me, and I could never repay her for everything she has done. My online coach, Davey McCann, is one of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. He has supported me all the way up from little league and treats me like his own kid.
