Please post something from last season that sticks out to you. It can be from a game, practice, or something funny on the bus ride to or from the game. Any moment that sticks out to you:

I feel like what stuck out the most last season was the brotherhood. I came in and met people I never knew existed, and if I did, we never talked. Football brought us together, and we all became like brothers, and I feel that really helped the team and the people apart from the team.

LB, RB, WR: Of the three positions that you are listed as playing, which one do you feel you are best positioned for?

It's kind of a toss-up; I’m very balanced at every single one, but I have had the most experience at LB, so I would say that position is the one I’m best positioned for, but I’ve been working so we could see that change.

What are your goals for the season?

My goal for this season is to obviously win the North and even the city, but what I want as well is for us to grow as a team; with us being a young team, I feel we still have the talent and mindset to win, and I want to show that to people.

What do you believe is the strength of your game?

The strength of my game is probably my IQ or strength, for how undersized I am at my positions, I realized I can’t be a small fry, so I've been putting that work in the gym and studying everything I can for the game.

Which part of your game do you feel you need to work on the most to make you a better player?

I feel what I probably need to work on the most to improve is pass coverage; there were a lot of missed opportunities last season, but you won’t see that happen again; it’s getting fixed.

What is your favorite part of practice?

My favorite part of practice is probably when we’re out there full go, the tackling and the laughs and just showing off what we can do at practice and working our tails off.

What is the toughest part of practice?

The toughest part of practice is when we have to run; someone may have been out of place or something, but it’s still good to grow endurance and trust.

What has been your biggest moment as an athlete?

My biggest moment as an athlete was probably the Beechcroft game or the Centennial shutout. The Beechcroft game was when I finally was full go; I had a starting game at Backer under my belt, and I felt comfortable, and we beat them for the first time in over 40 years, and the Centennial game we sent our senior brothers home with a rivalry win.

Grass or turf?

I really like to play on turf for some reason, but I don’t want to get hurt, and grass isn’t a bad surface, so grass for the long run.

What makes you a good teammate?

What makes me a good teammate I feel it is my leadership at my age; I have a voice in the locker room even as a freshman, and that’s hard to do. I always try and help my teammates and give them the best advice I can.

If the game is on the line, do you want to be on offense or defense?

Explain: If the game were on the line, I would rather be on offense. I haven’t had a real good taste of offense yet in high school, but I know the feeling of getting a game-winning touchdown must be the best feeling in the world, but a defensive stop or turnover for the game isn’t far behind either.

What do you feel it will take for the Braves to have a winning season?

This season it will take the whole team; there can’t be any selfishness. We are a young team, and we know people will think it's BBQ chicken against us, but I promise they're wrong. We are a good team, and we need to not get scared or stop working when we’re down in those trenches.

What are you doing outside of sports for fun?

Outside of sports I don’t really do much but hang out with some friends & family or play the game, but even in those situations there’s something going on sports-wise, and if I’m not doing that, I’m at the gym working.

Who is your favorite athlete?

My favorite athlete is going to have to be Sonny Styles or Jack Sawyer; I loved watching them at Ohio State, and the fact they’re both Ohio bred I love that.

NFL or NBA?

NFL
