After Jon Hewitt (Eaton) hit his point after kick, we had a 7-0 game with 5:30 left in the quarter.

The South offense was back at it with 2:40 left in the quarter when Buescher found Adams for a nice 15-yard gain. Buescher connected with Smith for the touchdown to put South up, 14-0 with 1:45 left in the quarter.

The South drive ended with Daureon Johnson (Akron Buchtel) picking off a Bueschler pass on a play where there was heavy pressure by the North. The North drive ended with as much excitement as we were treated to all game long when the South blocked a would-be game-winning 18-yard field goal by Ruehling, causing the game to end 14-14.
