Please post something from last season that sticks out to you. It can be from a game, practice, or something funny on the bus ride to or from the game. Any moment that sticks out to you.

Game-winning FG of 29 yards against Cannon Mac. All the boys rushed the field, and it also sent us to playoffs.

What were your feelings as you walked off the field for the last time as a high school football player?

I was upset because this was my first season ever playing football, so it definitely changed me as a person and a player, but I'm committed to Glenville State, so I'm excited to keep playing for hopefully 4 more seasons.

What will you miss the most from playing high school football?

Getting to play with all my friends was definitely awesome, and getting to meet some new coaches too that I'm decently close with now.

What was your biggest moment as a high school football player?

Hitting a long 41-yard field goal against North Allegheny or my game winner against Canon Mac.

Who or what got you playing high school football?

I had a few friends telling me to kick, and I had some previous soccer teammates quoting soccer to start kicking.

What is the toughest weather for you to kick in?

NA Playoff game: it was the end of the season, cold and rainy.

What is your effective field goal range on a typical day?

Around 40–50 yards have been hit, with a long of 58 at a camp.

How do you adapt your technique for windy or rainy conditions?

Doing the same swing as usual, as a kicker you have to keep the same mindset and treat every game like you’re normally training in practice. Don’t overthink it, but in warmups learn to weather it and use it in the game.

How do you reset after missing a field goal or extra point?

Honestly, something my dad always tells me is to have the memory of a goldfish and the next-rep mentality. If I'm stuck on a previous field goal or extra point that I missed, then that will continue.

What goes through your mind right before the snap?

I get into a happy place and think about training with my special teams guys and act like it was me kicking every day. You don’t want to overthink a position that can be messed up with the slightest change, but you also want to have extreme composure.

What was the best part of the recruiting process?

The thrill of having coaches talking to you and going on visits as well. I liked touring Glenville, and taking pictures with the gear on it was awesome.

Could you share with everyone some of the schools that recruited you?

Glenville State

What made you choose Glenville State University?

Coaches were top-notch and previous WVU staff and treated me really well. I loved the facility and the coaches' energy and how they’re hungry to win. I’m excited to get down there and get to work.

What scares you?

Fear God.

What is a style or fad that your generation has that you do not get or understand?

Kids that don’t try to put any effort into what they're doing but complain when they don’t succeed.

What is your favorite class or subject?

Financial Math with my track coach and teacher, Mr. VanHorn
