I remember playing with an old teammate that transferred to Michigan City. It was a punt play. I cut, blocked my old teammate, and then got up and hit the returner out of bounds. I was trying to send a message to their team. Some would call it a late hit, but the ref didn't, and when I was getting back up, I remember their stands, coaches, and players were all calling out my number, and it felt great.
