Please post something from last season that sticks out to you. It can be from a game, practice, or something funny on the bus ride to or from the game. Any moment that sticks out to you.
Something that sticks out to me from last season is how, even though we had a down year before our final game at home vs. In Norwalk we were able to rally as a team, play together, and create a truly special atmosphere!
What do you believe was the highlight of your high school career?
The highlight of my career was when we played Cardinal Mooney my sophomore year because I played both ways, and I felt as though I had a big impact.
Which win in your high school career meant the most? Explain
The game that means the most to me is the game vs. Bellevue my junior year.
Now that it is over, what do you wish you would have done differently, as far as preparing yourself for high school football?
I wish I enjoyed practices more and didn’t take my time for granted because although it’s not the most fun thing, you only get a limited amount of time with your teammates.
Who was the best player that you faced in a game, as well as the team he played on?
My junior year during our final game we played Bodpegn Miller from Ontario.
What makes you a good teammate?
My ability to talk to people and guide them by tailoring my approach person to person to make the best impact.
What were your feelings as you walked off the field for the last time as a high school football player?
It was really sad because it finally set in that I would never play with these guys that I’ve grown up with again.
What will you miss the most from playing high school football?
Definitely my teammates.
If you are invited to play in any of the all-star football games, will you?
Yes, I’ve been invited to the north-south all-star game and will be attending.
What was the best part of the recruiting process?
Visiting schools and how they treat you while you're there
Do you feel that the transfer portal in college football is making it tougher for high school players to get recruited?
I think that the transfer portal has made being recruited out of high school a lot harder!
Would you share with the readers some of the schools that recruited you?
Morehead State University
Findlay
Walsh
Ohio Dominican
Tiffin
What made you choose Morehead State University?
It was the first place that I visited that when I stepped on campus, I felt like this is the place I’m meant to be. Moreover, the coaching staff was amazing, and right off the bat I felt as though they really wanted me and had what it takes to develop me.
What is your favorite college football team?
The Miami Hurricanes
What was the last book that you read, along with the author?
All of the Hunger Games books by Suzanne Collins
What is a style or fad that your generation has that you just don't get?
Mostly all of the fashion trends, especially designer
