Please post something from last season that sticks out to you. It can be from a game, practice, or something funny on the bus ride to or from the game. Any moment that sticks out to you.
Winning the sectional last year and making it to the regionals and seeing how packed it had been.
What were your team goals as you entered this season?
I and my team's goals going into this season were to work hard and show everyone we were capable of making it through sectionals and regionals.
How long have you played basketball, as well as who or what got you started?
I’ve played basketball for 4 years and my mom encouraged me to start playing in the 7th grade same with the coaches and Northeastern.
How tough is it being a multiple-sport student athlete?
It is super challenging being a multiple sport student athlete, balancing games, practice, traveling, and academics requires serious time and determination.
How would you describe your style of play to a college coach?
I like to play free and constructed, you can put me down in the post to get a good paint touch or even a kick out for a three. I’m also a knock shooter, and you can put me outside and i’ll knock it down.
What has been the best part of the season?
The best part of the season was me and my team overcoming challenges and facing all the obstacles and being at the top of our conference.
What has been the toughest part of the season?
The toughest part of the season was our holiday tournament where we played some very good competition and took some losses and that effected me and my teams' confidence.
Who has been the best player that you have faced in a game, as well as the team that she was on?
The best player I have ever faced would have to be Kenzie Koch, she’s from Eastern Hancock.
Should there be a shot clock in high school basketball?
I think having a shot clock would get us prepared for our future and also allow more opportunities for both teams to score.
What is your favorite drill to do during practice?
My favorite drill to do during practice is 3 on 2 2 on 1.
What's been the biggest lesson that you have learned from playing sports?
I’ve learned that you’re gonna make mistakes but to always keep a high head from there.
Why should the coach call your number when the game is on the line?
I believe I’m capable of doing whatever coach ask of me and getting it done for my team.
Who is the one teammate that is going to do something funny when things get a little tense?
I’d have to say Brooklynne Adam’s, there’s never a dull moment with her.
What is a fad or style that your generation has that you just don't get?
I don’t understand why so many people don’t wear socks, I catch people all the time with no socks with their shoes on.
Outside of sports, what are you doing for fun?
Outside of sports I like to hang out with my family and friends and i also love to attend other sports and other games.
Who is your favorite athlete?
Caitlin Clark
