What were your feelings as you walked off the field for the last time as a member of the Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley Falcon Knights football team?
It was a real gut punch knowing I’m not playing with the kids I grew up with anymore. Knowing we were one step away from doing big things for our program.
What do you feel you are going to miss the most from playing high school football?
Definitely playing the game I love with the kids I’ve grown up with.
What mark do you think your class left on the football programs?
A standard that you give everything you have from January to the last snap.
Can you explain to the readers what it was like playing on a co-op football team?
Gives you the opportunity to meet and make new friends from other schools. Also gives an awesome rivalry for other sports.
What do you feel your biggest moment as a football player was?
Being a leader to a group of hardworking kids. Something I would do again in a heartbeat.
Of the wins you had, which one meant the most?
Keystone since I used to go to school there. Grew up with a lot of the kids that played on the team, so it was really bittersweet.
Which loss stung the most?
Sophomore year at Brockway during the first round of playoffs.
What was the biggest lesson you learned from playing high school football?
Do the little things if you want to chase the bigger things.
How would you define your style of play?
Tough physical football.
Now that high school football is over, do you feel that private schools have an unfair advantage over public schools?
No, I believe if you want it, you can work your tail off to be that level of good.
Can you share with the readers some of the schools that recruited you and why you picked Westminster College?
Thiel, Junitata, Grove City, and St. Vincent were some other schools I checked out. But ultimately I chose Westminster due to the culture their coaching staff has built. Their academics are also great with smaller class sizes. Couldn’t be more excited to get started there.
What will you major in at college?
Sports broadcasting and communications.
Who are your role models?
Definitely my dad.
What is your favorite current TV show?
Stranger Things.
