What are the three biggest reasons that you play football?

I play for the game, the friends, and the fun.

Who or what got you started playing football?

My brother

What has been your biggest moment as an athlete?

Getting a TFL on one of my first varsity plays.

What has been your most embarrassing moment as an athlete?

Missing open tackles

Linebacker or running back, which one do you feel you are better at? Explain

I feel I’m better at linebacker. I play it more and am more comfortable on the defensive side of the ball.

Linebacker or running back, which one is the toughest to prepare for?

Linebacker is tougher. Your weekly game plan is based off the other team;at running back, the plays will remain the same.

Who is the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team he was on?

Dawaun Moody, Liberty

What are your personal goals for the season?

Become an all-state player.

What goals will you set for the team?

Win the league, undefeated regular season, playoff run.

If the team is having a bad practice, which teammate is the first to speak up and let the team know you have to do better?

Mike Huebner

What did you learn about yourself during the 2024 season that you can use to be a better player?

My knowledge of the game.

What makes you a good teammate?

My ability to lead and encourage others around me.

What is a talent or skill that you have that most others do not know about?

I’m a good cartoonist.

I’m going to miss the amount of leadership the 2025 class had, but luckily the 2026 class has many leaders as well. What were your personal goals for the 2024 season? My respect for other teammates, my hard work and dedication, and lifting my teammates up during hard times. What was the highlight of the 2024 season? The highlight of my 2024 season was definitely the 42-yard free kick Coach Daniel Barker had me working on all week before we played that Friday night. For those that don’t know, a free kick happens after receiving a fair catch. Your team can choose to kick a field goal off a kickoff tee from where the fair catch was received. It’s very rarely used in football now. But I did do it. I made a 42-yard free kick, and it made my season! What was the toughest part of the 2024 season?
