Please post a small recap of last season with something like a big game you had, something about a certain game, something from a bus ride to or from the game, or something that sticks out from a practice?

Last year we weren’t that good. We went 2-8 on the year. The game against Wauseon I feel I played my best in. I got my first varsity pancake that game. The practices last year were fun because of our online coach, Tommy Mygrant. He would always make us laugh at practice, and he would help build us up after a game we lost. He retired last year and was a great coach.

Wrestling, track, and football. You are in all of these sports. Can you share with the readers how you are able to manage your time so that you not only play all three but are also able to keep the grades up and have time for other things?

I’m able to manage my time well because I get all my work done in school, and I use my study hall well. I focus on my schoolwork during school, so after school I can focus on the sports I play, and if I have any homework, I do it at night.

Of those three sports, which one are you hoping to play at the college level?

I am hoping to play football at the college level.

What are your goals for the 2025 football season?

My goal for the 2025 football season is to have a positive record. Also, to make a deep playoff run. Also, to be a leader for the Online.

What makes you a good teammate?

What makes me a good teammate is that I hope to be a player that leads by example with my off-field work at T3 performance with coach Dale, which has helped me advance with skills and technique that Can share with my teammates. I also motivate other players to do their best. If they need help with the plays, I tell them what their responsibilities are.

What part of your game do you feel is the strongest?

I feel the best part of my game is my strength and IQ on the football field.

Which part of your game must you improve before the season starts?

The part of my game I must improve is flexibility to play lower.

As a younger player, if you need help with football-related issues, which teammate are you seeking out for help?

If I ever need help with football issues, I would usually ask Caden Cramer, Evan Bova, or Reid Claus. They are all very helpful and great teammates.

What is the toughest part of the first day of practice in full pads?

The toughest part of the first day of practice in full pads is getting used to wearing all the pads again.

What is your favorite part of practice?

My favorite part of practice is when we go to team offense and are able to compete with my friends and make each other better.

What is the best part of being a center?

The best part of being a center is that you know when the ball is getting snapped, and you can plan ahead for what steps you are going to take to block the guy across from you. Also being able to lead the line

What is the toughest part of being a center?

The toughest part of being a center is getting to the linebacker because you can’t go straight up; you have to take a good angle towards them.

What type of defensive lineman is the toughest to face?

The toughest type of defensive lineman to face is the guys who are relentless and keep going after bad plays and play their hearts out. It forces me to elevate and play better.

How do you respond to criticism?

I feel like I take criticism well. As the youngest of four brothers who have also played in high school and in college, I set the bar high for myself. So I take any criticism and build on it to make myself a better player.

What is your favorite energy drink?

My favorite energy drink is Ghost Orange Cream.

What is the one food you refuse to eat?

One food I refuse to eat would be any kind of fish.

Have you been to a Bowling Green or Toledo football game?

No, I have not been to either team’s game, but I would like to go to one.
