Please post a small recap of last season with something like a big game you had, something about a certain game, something from a bus ride to or from the game, or something that sticks out from a practice.
First game of the season, my first varsity game, and the first time playing corner, and I had a trick play on me in the first half.
Then in the second half, we were down with no momentum and needed a big play and got an interception in the end zone, and our team went down to score. In the Northwest final drive, I got my second interception of the game and pick-sixed it to close out the game, and it was a great feeling after the game with all the recognition and praise.
Who or what got you started playing football?
My dad got me into it since I was young, and then one of my 7v7 coaches really got me into it.
What was the high point of the 2024 season?
When we went on a 7-game win streak, that was really fun and some big upsets.
What was the toughest moment from the 2024 season?
The playoff game between Valley was hard for sure.
What position do you feel that you are best at?
I feel I’m best at slot WR.
How would you describe your style of play?
Fast, tough, calm.
What is the strongest part of your game?
I would say my knowledge of the game and my feet and my speed.
What makes you a good teammate?
Like to make people better and bring people up.
If the game is on the line, why should your number be called?
Because I’m going to make the play.
Who is the first teammate to get vocal if the team is having a bad practice?
I or one of the senior offensive linemen am pretty vocal about those things.
Would you rather play your rival to start the season or end the regular season with them? Explain
To start the season just brings a lot of hype to week 1 and anticipation for the game and the rest of the season.
What has been your biggest moment as a football player?
Probably week 1 against Northwest, I changed the momentum and a lot about that game.
Outside of sports, what are you doing for fun?
Golf, tuning, swimming, just hanging out with the guys and work.
Who are your favorite and least favorite college football teams?
I like the Iowa teams and Stanford from Missouri. I don’t really dislike any teams.
What is your favorite home-cooked meal?
Build your own tacos, FS.
