Post a small recap of last season with personal highlights and any other big moments you have and memories you have from last season, whether it be a game, the bus ride to or from the game, or any other thing that sticks out.
Last season, my team went 9–2; the previous season, we were 3–8. I mainly played OLB and finished with 80 total tackles (37 solo) and led my team in tackles for the second season in a row. One of the biggest moments of the season was our win over a rival in a game of the week; the energy on the field was awesome.
What are your personal goals for the season?
My personal goal is to rush for at least 1,000 yards and lead my team in tackles for the third season.
What goals are you setting for your team?
My goal for the team would be to finish the season with at least a 9–2 record.
LB, RB, which position do you feel you are better at?
Linebacker because I’ve played it the longest and I feel more confident in it.
What is the strongest part of your game?
My tackling can shed blocks easily.
Which part of your game are you hoping to improve the most before the season gets here?
I want to improve my speed as a running back.
How would you describe your style of play?
I am aggressive, physical, and relentless.
How did your baseball season go?
Baseball was great; we went 20–8 and won the conference for the first time since 2008. As a CF starter, I finished top 3 on the team in batting and earned 1st Team honors.
Baseball or football, which sport do you feel you are best at?
Football. I love the intensity of the game.
What is the best part of being a student-athlete at Northwestern High School?
The support of the coaches and my teammates.
If the game is on the line, do you want to be on offense or defense? Explain
Defense I want to be the one shutting down the play.
What makes you a good teammate?
I lead by example, stay positive, support my teammates, and always work hard for the team.
Why should a college coach recruit you?
I am consistent, coachable, and have a strong work ethic, and I can play both sides.
What is your go-to snack?
Cereal
What is your favorite class or subject?
Welding is my vocational program.
What is the one sport that you cannot watch?
Tennis
