Post a small recap of last season with personal highlights and any other big moments you have and/or memories you have from last season, whether it be a game, the bus ride to or from the game, or any other thing that sticks out.

Good memory. I would say the long bus ride to Bell County was fun, and we played really well even though we came up just short at the end.

As a player, how much do you feel you grew as a leader from the end of last season to right now?

I would say I have grown a lot as a leader since last year. We lost a lot of seniors on last year's team, so now I have to step up and be a better leader to the young guys to help us win games.

What are you looking forward to the most this season?

I am looking forward to competing and winning games with my team and playing our crosstown rivals, the Ashland Tomcats.

Last time we spoke, you said you needed to improve this part of your game. going to the next level to pick up a linebacker when running the ball. Were you able to achieve this?

Yes, I would say I achieved it. I still have things I can improve at, but I’m getting better and better every day.

As a player, what do you do to try and recruit your friends to come out for football?

I mention how fun and uplifting the environment is when playing and how fun it is to win games and have a whole county behind you supporting your team.

What was the best part of the 2024 season?

Playing with the seniors that I have played with since middle school and the long bus rides.

What was the toughest part of the 2024 season?

Not being able to play to our potential in the first round of playoffs.

What will you miss the most from the class of 2025?

The friendships that I made with them and how much we enjoyed competing and playing with each other.

What is the best part of being a lineman?

The best part is being able to pancake people and make holes for the backs to score.

What is the toughest part of being a lineman?

The toughest part is the combination of strength and technique and the mental toughness you need to protect the quarterback.

If the game is on the line, do you want to be on offense or defense? Explain

Offense, so I can give my quarterback time to pass or make a hole open up for the running back.

What advice are you giving that first-year starting lineman right before he takes the field for the first time?

Stay calm, trust your teammates, and give it everything you have.

If you could add one new opponent to the schedule, who are you adding? Why?

Pikeville, because we came up short last year playing them, and I think they’re a good team that would give us a good game that we could win if we executed our game plan.

What is your favorite sport to watch?

Other than football, I like to watch basketball.

What is your favorite holiday?

4th of July

Who are your favorite and least favorite college teams?

My favorite is the University of Kentucky; my least favorite is Auburn.
