What will you miss the most from the 2025 class?

Them introducing me to camps and how to make sure I’m locked in for them

What was the highlight of the 2024 season?

Getting the opportunity to get varsity time and to experience the taste of winning early in the season

What was the toughest part of the 2024 season?

8 consecutive losses.

How did your wrestling season go?

Not how I wanted. Had a lot of tough opponents and a lot of hard losses.

Qualified for WPials for the 2nd time in my career.

What is the best part of being a lineman?

As Joe Moore would say, “The greatest feeling is moving a man from point A to point B against his own will.”

What is the toughest part of being a lineman?

Making sure my quarterback is protected.

Is there a pro or college player that you pattern your game after?

I’m a huge fan of Tristan Wirfs. Watched countless hours of film on him.

Who is the toughest teammate to square up against during practice?

Last year, Colin Bruno. This year Patrick Schmook

What makes you a good teammate?

I’m definitely the teammate who will make sure my guys are doing the right thing outside of just practice.

What are you looking forward to the most this season?

Having the opportunity to go up against some of the top guys in PA and beating them.

What is your game-day routine?

Waking up and blasting heavy metal in the shower, eating eggs for breakfast, chicken and rice for lunch, and some type of salad before the game. As well as drinking a gallon of water along with 2 Propels and 2 Liquid IVs. Right before I go out, I drink about 2 spoonfuls of honey and eat a banana.

Can the band and cheerleaders get you fired up before and during the game?

For sure.

What are your favorite and least favorite types of music?

Favorite heavy metal

Least favorite jazz

What is your favorite current TV show?

All-American

Who are your role models?

My parents and my coaches. All of them.

I’m going to miss the amount of leadership the 2025 class had, but luckily the 2026 class has many leaders as well. What were your personal goals for the 2024 season? My personal goals this season were to stay relaxed at all times and make smart decisions while under pressure. And have a successful season. Were you able to attain the goals you set? Athens Bulldogs use balanced attack to down Wellston Golden Rockets 41-0

  *Using the rosters from both Hudl and Max Preps* The Plains, OH Last night I made the hour-long drive to Athens High School to watch the Bulldogs host the Golden Rockets of Wellston. Entering the game, the Bulldogs came in 7-0 and ranked number 10 in division three. Wellston, much improved from last season, entered 5-2. In the game last year, Athens won 47-28. Wellston started out doing exactly what they needed to do to have a shot at winning the game. They came out and ate most of the first quarter with a drive that had last for 15 plays going for 69 yards. Things would start going wrong for them on the sixteenth play of the drive. They faced fourth and four from the Bulldogs five, and they elected to go for it, where the pass and the second attempt of the drive fell incomplete, forcing a turnover on downs. On the drive facing a third and one, Seth Lambert picked up twelve. Later on the drive facing third and fifth, Johhny Scott picked up 10-yards after he could not find anyon...
