Who or what got you started playing football?

My mother What got me started playing football was watching my older cousin play. I actually liked it. I was scared at first, but I got out of my comfort zone and wanted to play. I started playing at 6 years old.

What motivates you to keep playing the game?

What motivates me is seeing my family still working jobs. I want my whole family to know I have them on my back to succeed when I am able to make it.

What are your goals for the 2025 season?

My goals for the 2025 season are to stay level-headed and gain offers in my upcoming season and to win a state championship.

What goals are you setting for the team?

A goal I set for my team is a state championship run—nothing more, nothing less.

What is the best part of being a student-athlete at Martin Luther King High School?

The best part is the foundation around the school; it's been there for a long time, so generations have been through there.

What is the toughest part of being a student-athlete?

The toughest part about being a student athlete is facing battles on and off the field and making life decisions that could either set you up for life or weigh you back.

What has been your biggest moment as an athlete?

My biggest moment as an athlete is me seeing myself accomplish things on the field and achieve some things I always wished of doing.

What do you feel the strongest part of your game is?

The strongest part of my game is my mentality on the field.

What are you doing during the off-season to improve your game?

The things I am doing in my off season are lifting weights daily and outside defensive back training.

Who is the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team he played on?

I haven’t faced anybody that shocked my eye. Everybody is a good football player to me, honestly.

Who is the toughest teammate to square off against during practice?

My toughest teammate to square off against is my friend Nazir Holley. I feel

Like, we always go at it every practice and make each other better.

Would you share with the readers some of the colleges you are hearing from?

I am currently not hearing that much from any colleges right about now.

What scares you?

What scares me is me failing in life and not getting where I wanna to go.

What is your go-to snack?

My go-to snack is Mike & Ikes.

What state would you like to visit for the first time?

I would love to visit Hawaii.
