Post a small recap of last season with personal highlights and any other big moments you have and/or memories you have from last season, whether it be a game, the bus ride to or from the game, or any other thing that sticks out.
Last year was tough with me being at Thomas Worthington last year, with not winning games and trying to keep the team’s heads high. But one thing I had to tell myself was to keep going. Don’t let one bad year define you as a player.
Will you continue to play football and basketball in 2025?
Yes
Of the two sports, which one do you feel you are better at?
Growing up, I always thought I was going to be a basketball kid, growing up in a basketball family with cousins and uncles all playing at a high level, but football is where my heart is.
What are your personal goals for the 2025 season?
Win OCC
First Team all OCC
Make a deep run into the playoffs by winning a state championship.
What goals will you set for the team?
Staying consistent throughout the season
What is the strongest part of your game?
Throwing the deep ball. I have a strong arm, and it always has been my strong suit.
When I watched you play, the one thing I noticed the most was you looked like you had that Brett Favre mentality, meaning it looked like you had no doubt you could complete the pass, no matter how tight the coverage. Is there a college or pro quarterback you pattern your game after?
No, I’ve never tried to compare myself with anyone.
How often do you watch game film on your own?
Always. As a QB, if you're not watching film, you're not preparing yourself for success. You have to see the game before you play the game, in my opinion.
How do you get over a bad game?
Got to get over it. It sucks, but it’s over. Can’t let that take over then one bad game will turn into another.
How important are the 7-on-7 games you play in as far as getting on the same page with your receivers and running backs?
Huge, in my opinion. With moving schools, getting a connection with some of these guys has been a great thing even outside of 7-on-7, with hitting the field just to get those extra reps in.
Who is the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team they were on?
Ethan Grunkmyer at Olentangy my freshman year.
How important is it to you that the team not only gets along on the field but off of it too?
Very important team Having a good relationship with your teammates can help the team and build a true brotherhood.
Which game are you looking forward to the most?
Week one, just ready to go play again and get back on the field.
What is your favorite holiday?
Christmas .
Where is your dream vacation spot?
Japan.
Who are your favorite and least favorite NFL teams?
Don’t have a team.
