I’ll never forget the skill meals that we had at Coach Haddix’s house.

What are your personal goals for the 2025 season?

Win a state championship and make sure that my name is heard.

With this being your final high school football season, have you prepared any differently?

I have just been locked in on trying to step up as a leader and be a good example for the younger guys below me.

What is it like playing for Coach Haddix?

He’s a good coach that will believe in you and not just coach you well on the field, but he also sets up guys for the real world.

What will you miss the most from the 2025 class?

Just their grit and the bonds that were picked up along the season

What is the best part of being a student-athlete at Boyle County?

Everyone is tuned in with the team and really supportive, so that helps with motivation on game day knowing that I have a crowd behind me.

What is the toughest part of being a student-athlete?

Just having to manage school with sports along with keeping your body healthy

What makes you a good teammate?

I always want to see my teammates getting better, and I am always making sure I’m on the same page with the other DBs, whether that’s sitting down watching film or just having a bond with them.

What is the strongest part of your game?

I would have to say ball skills or making reads.

Which part of your game have you worked on the most during the off-season?

strength and speed

What was the best part of the 2024 season?

Proving everyone wrong beating Saint Edward’s and putting not just our team but Kentucky football on the map

Turf or grass?

Definitely Turf

Would you share some of the schools that you are hearing from?

Eastern Kentucky, Southern Miss, Rhode Island, Toledo, Austin Peay, Robert Morris, Indiana State, and Wake Forest

What scares you?

I don’t think I have any.

If you could only eat one food the rest of your life, what are you eating?

chicken and rice

I’m going to miss the amount of leadership the 2025 class had, but luckily the 2026 class has many leaders as well. What were your personal goals for the 2024 season? Athens Bulldogs use balanced attack to down Wellston Golden Rockets 41-0

  *Using the rosters from both Hudl and Max Preps* The Plains, OH Last night I made the hour-long drive to Athens High School to watch the Bulldogs host the Golden Rockets of Wellston. Entering the game, the Bulldogs came in 7-0 and ranked number 10 in division three. Wellston, much improved from last season, entered 5-2. In the game last year, Athens won 47-28. Wellston started out doing exactly what they needed to do to have a shot at winning the game. They came out and ate most of the first quarter with a drive that had last for 15 plays going for 69 yards. Things would start going wrong for them on the sixteenth play of the drive. They faced fourth and four from the Bulldogs five, and they elected to go for it, where the pass and the second attempt of the drive fell incomplete, forcing a turnover on downs. On the drive facing a third and one, Seth Lambert picked up twelve. Later on the drive facing third and fifth, Johhny Scott picked up 10-yards after he could not find anyon...
