Westerville North 20 Worthington Kilbourne 7 5 Innings

After work I drove to Westerville, hit Planet Fitness, and then after my workout I drove to North High School to watch Westerville North battle Worthington Kilbourne. The last time these two teams met, North used a 14-run seventh inning to pull away for a 24-4 win. Well, tonight after blowing an early 5-0 lead and seeing the Wolves lock the game up at five , the Warriors scored 15 runs in the bottom of the third to lead 20-5. The Wolves would score two final runs to make the final 20-7.

North would bang out 17 hits. Emma Polovick would go 3-4, including a home run, to go with 4 RBI. Ali Merrell would go 2-4, with a home run, with 2 RBI. Ella Effrom had 3 hits and 4 RBI. Gabby Bote had 4 hits and 2 RBI. Ella Kacsandi had 3 hits and 2 RBI. Megan Ockerman had 1 RBI and 2 hits. Leila Morrison, Loren Anderson, and Addie Booth each had an RBI.

For Kilbourne, they were held to 7 hits. Leading the way in defeat was leadoff hitter Scarlett Elder with 3 hits and an RBI. Juliana Orlins and Becca Boue' had 2 RBI and a hit. Rae Pfeiffer also had a hit and an RBI.

North had just one error compared to four for Kilbourne. There were a total of five stolen bases in the game, with Kilbourne having three of those. Leading in the stand base depart for the game was Juliana Orlins with two for Kilbourne.
