With this coming season being your final as a high school player, have you trained any differently than you have in the past? Explain.

I don’t think it’s different. I have always focused on gaining size and improving speed. Those are my main goals in the off-season. Currently I’m up 25 lbs, and my 100 time is the best I’ve ever had.

What were the high point and low point of the 2024 season?

My favorite part of the season was probably also the most difficult! We went to a military base for a weekend (camp) and were led by drill instructors. It’s really tough but also a great memory with my guys!

What are you looking forward to the most this season?

I just want to compete!

What did you learn about yourself during the 2024 season that you can use to be a better player this season?

That I can only control what I can control. Just keep playing and love the game!

What makes you a good teammate?

I’ll do anything to help us be successful on the field.

What has been your biggest moment as an athlete, any sport, any age? What has been your most embarrassing moment as an athlete?

The biggest moment was when I got voted by my teammates as the Defensive MVP my freshman year. It made me feel like I belonged.

Most embarrassing was when the kickoff hit my face mask and bounced 20 yards toward the kicking team for their recovery.

Do you want to be on offense or defense when the game is on the line? Explain

I want to be on offense! On offense I can control the fact that I will get the ball. On defense, they can just go away from me!

How do you get over a bad game?

Own it! Watch the film and get better from it.

How do you prepare physically and mentally for an important game?

Lots of film prep and hydration

What is your game day routine?

School: light meal, trainer, chill, and listen to music.

What is your favorite play to have called?

GT

How important is team unity?

#1

Where is the best local spot to grab a pizza?

Matt B’s

Do you have a skill or talent that might surprise those who know you?

Not really.

What are your plans after high school?

Not 100% sure. I’m open to all opportunities.

(Words from Logan)

Last season was my first to play full time on both sides of the ball. I recorded 96 tackles and was voted by my teammates as the Defensive POY. I ran for 758 yards (638 after contact) and was voted by my teammates as the Offensive POY. I was also selected as Team MVP by my teammates, received an All-WKC selection for the 3rd time, and was voted WPSD Pre-Season top 10 by area coaches.
