What is your favorite part of being a member of the West football team?

My favorite part is playing for the side of town I’m from.

What is the toughest part of a West High practice?

The toughest part is 15 to 20 gassers.

What part of your game do you believe is the strongest?

Coming downhill is the strongest part of my game.

Which part of your game must you improve to become a better player?

Opening my hips better will improve me as a player.

What makes you a good teammate?

Sportsmanship

Who is the toughest teammate to square up against at practice?

Jahmere Johnson, Amari Jones, Eli Broomfield, and Josiah Santiago

Which game are you looking forward to the most?

Franklin Heights

What has been your biggest moment on the football field?

Winning a home game.

As a linebacker, which type of weather do you like playing in the most?

Weather really doesn’t matter; all weather is football weather.

Running offense

I’m going to miss the amount of leadership the 2025 class had, but luckily the 2026 class has many leaders as well. What were your personal goals for the 2024 season? My personal goals this season were to stay relaxed at all times and make smart decisions while under pressure. And have a successful season. Were you able to attain the goals you set? Athens Bulldogs use balanced attack to down Wellston Golden Rockets 41-0

  *Using the rosters from both Hudl and Max Preps* The Plains, OH Last night I made the hour-long drive to Athens High School to watch the Bulldogs host the Golden Rockets of Wellston. Entering the game, the Bulldogs came in 7-0 and ranked number 10 in division three. Wellston, much improved from last season, entered 5-2. In the game last year, Athens won 47-28. Wellston started out doing exactly what they needed to do to have a shot at winning the game. They came out and ate most of the first quarter with a drive that had last for 15 plays going for 69 yards. Things would start going wrong for them on the sixteenth play of the drive. They faced fourth and four from the Bulldogs five, and they elected to go for it, where the pass and the second attempt of the drive fell incomplete, forcing a turnover on downs. On the drive facing a third and one, Seth Lambert picked up twelve. Later on the drive facing third and fifth, Johhny Scott picked up 10-yards after he could not find anyon...
