West Union owns Portsmouth Clay 61-31

This game was part of the Dave Young Classic at North Adams High School. West Union started out strong, leading 15-8 after one period, and never looked back. They would use their speed and pressure defense to take a 32-16 lead at the half. The second half would be much of the same with West Union using some nice outside shooting and ball movement to out score clay 29-15 in the second half.

Leading the winners with 16 points, including three three-pointers, was Gavin Jarvis. Jarvis had just 5 baskets from the floor, with 3 free throws. Trae Grooms would add 12 points on 4 buckets and 4 free throws.

For Clay, Isaiah Whitt had 8 points with 2 three-pointers.

West Union improves to 3-6 on the season, while Clay drops to 0-11. Records were used from Maxpreps.
