South Point uses big 2nd half to get by Peebles 54-43

As far as I could find, Peebles came 4-5, while South Point was 4-7. As for the game, it was tight throughout the first half, with things tied at 11 after one and then at 20 after the first half. Neither team could pull away from the other. The one player that stood out in the half was Brayden Hanshaw, the 6-4 senior for South Point. He was scoring at will, ending the game with a game-high 23 points. He connected on 9 shots from the field and 5 free throws.

The third quarter was all South Point as they scored 20 points, leading 40-31 as the quarter came to a close. The final score would be 54-43, with South Point posting the win.

17 players played in this one, with 15 of those scoring. After the 23 by Hanshaw for South Point, Davon Lewis had 12 points, including two threes. Ethan Layne had 11.

For Peebles, Carson Reed paced the way with 12. Paxton Ryan had 10. Peebles hit three three-pointers as they relied on getting their points inside of the arc. For South Point, they totaled 2 three-pointers.
