Conotton Valley uses 17 point fourth quarter to defeat Tuscarawas Central Catholic 40-39


 

What a game between Conotton Valley and Tuscarawas Central Catholic. The two teams dressed a total of 17 players, with the Rockets dressing 9 and the Saints 8. The Saints led this one for most of three quarters and most of the fourth until Brooks Bower decided it was time to put his team on his shoulders. The senior hit some key free throws late, including two with :03 left. The first tied the game, and the second was for the win. For the game, the senior had 15 points and 4 boards. His top help came from Junior Kamden Wright with 10 points. Zachary Putnam chipped in with 6 points and 9 boards, with 6 off the boards coming from the offensive end. The win puts the Rockets 7-9 overall. For the Saints (2-13), Brysen Grimes had a team-high 15 points. Ethan Rothrock had 9 points and 9 boards.
