Could you share with the readers how you came to pay for Cincinnati Landmark Christian?
I started playing at Landmark my eighth-grade year with most of my friend group joining. It sounded like a new opportunity to explore a different route to college.
What made playing for Landmark Christian so special?
What made it special is the friendship I developed with my teammates and that we trusted each other to make plays on either side of the ball.
What was the best and toughest part of playing for Coach Goodpastor?
The toughest time I had with the coach was when in Dallas I got mad because I kept running and fading the whole game, and I was struggling to get anything.
What was your feeling as you walked off the field for the last time as a member of the Landmark Christian Football Team?
My final game with Landmark was probably the most disappointing game I’ve played. The one takeaway is that I had played for my teammates and didn't give up till the end, so I felt at ease.
What was the highlight of your high school football career?
The highlight of my high school career was probably beating our division rivals twice and having 100+ yards and 1+ TD in each game.
What was the low point of your high school football career?
The lowest point in high school for me was probably my first and only high school fumble against probably the worst team in our division.
Which win meant the most?
The win that meant the most was probably beating our division rivals twice.
Which loss hurt the most?
The loss that was the most hurtful was Osceola Christian.
Who was the best team that you ever faced?
The best team I ever faced was the Noah Jaguars.
Who was the best player that you played against, along with the team he played on?
The best player I ever played against was Daniel Okoye; he played for the Noah Jaguars.
What has been the best and worst part of the recruiting process?
The best part of the recruiting process has been the conversation I’ve had with the recruiters, and the worst part was probably how late it took me to figure out what I needed to do to get my film out.
Can you share with everyone some of the schools you are hearing from, along with any offers you have?
Some of the schools I’ve been offered by are Lighthouse Christian, Rio Grande, Anderson, and Bluffton. I’ve also received interest from Taylor, Wooster, Hiram, MSJ, Defiance, Dordt, etc.
What scares you?
Something that scares me is getting injured badly enough that it would affect my ability to play.
Who are your role models?
My role model is Davante Adams; he is one of my favorite receivers to watch.
What is your favorite home-cooked meal?
My favorite home-cooked meal is spaghetti and meatballs.
