(Basketball) Indian Valley blitzes Garaway 57-40

Tonight at Indian Valley High School, the Braves (4-1, 3-1 Inter-Valley Conference) had little problem in blowing out the Pirates. The Braves defense forced 18 turnovers, while their offense committed just 9. The Braves hit 6-9 free throws, while Garaway hit just 5-12.

Six Braves scored in this one, with senior Luke Wells (6-1, 150) leading the way with 16 points. He had a lot of help from Jackson Murphy and Colt James; each had 14 points.

For the Pirates, leading the way with 9 points each was Bronson Speedy and Blaine Raber. Raber scored 47 points his last time out. He seemed to rush many of his shots tonight and had virtually no luck as the ball did not want to go down for him. Eight players scored for Garaway.
