What are you going to miss the most from the 2025 class?

The whole team, but especially the D-line

What game will you remember the most from the 2024 season? 

Sidney came back down 24 and won off a game-winning field goal.

Who was the best player that you faced during the 2024 season?

Skill-wise, Deaute White and lineman Jayden Clark

Who was the best team you faced this season, and what made them so good?

Playoffs: Anderson, so much skill.

Regular Szn: Tipp City, they are very well coached and play with heart.

Where on the field do you believe that you are best at?

Making reads and plays in big moments 

What do you feel that you improved on the most this season?

I want to be able to play faster side to side. 

What is the worst weather to play in?

Freezing with snow.

Which road stadium this season was the worse or toughest to play in? Explain

Tip was pretty tough, having the stands behind and people surrounding you. 

Could you name some of the schools that are recruiting you?

Miami, Akron, Harvard, Dartmouth.

What must you improve on before the 2025 season starts?

get faster and use hands more efficiently 

When do you start training for next season?

Now.

What makes you a good teammate?

I want what’s best for my teammates no matter what.

What is your favorite style of music?

R&B when I’m chilling and rocking in the weight room 

What is a talent or skill that you have that would shock those around you?

Film study. I think I have a skill to be able to call out plays before they happen. 

What is your go-to snack?

sprite and chips

  Yesterday I drove to Portsmouth and met up with my friend Bill Norman after dinner at The Portsmouth Brewing Company before driving over to Spartan Stadium to watch the semi-pro football game and watch the Port City Spartans host the Columbus Fire. I have been to over 1,500 football games, or close to that amount, and I can say none of them prepared me for what I ended up seeing. The stadium had one set of lights that did not work at all that I had seen before (Jackson State University). One pole had a light missing, and another pole had one single light that did not work at all on the visitor's side, making the field dark. I saw a fan on the Spartans side of the field standing with the players vaping, and I saw a player setting on the bench for most of the game also vaping. The game itself was stopped once when the refs walked off the field for what one player on the Spartans said was because a Columbus player said something about going after the ref with a gun. Two times first team all MSL, two times first team all district, two times honorable mention all Ohio What were the high and low points of the 2023 season? I’d say a high point would be doubling our wins from the 2022 season. Some low points would be losing three close games that would’ve given us a higher seed in tournament play and not being able to win a playoff game. What are your personal goals for the 2024 season? 1,500 rushing yards and 1,000 passing yards, 25 rushing touchdowns, and 15 passing touchdowns. How long have you played football, along with the reasons you continue to play? I have been playing football for 11 years. I’m going to miss the amount of leadership the 2025 class had, but luckily the 2026 class has many leaders as well. What were your personal goals for the 2024 season? My personal goals this season were to stay relaxed at all times and make smart decisions while under pressure. And have a successful season. Were you able to attain the goals you set?
